To access this screen:

  1. Display the Define Grade Curves screen.

  2. Click Add or Edit.

Add a new data series, or edit an existing one, to be displayed on the Grade Curves report.

Grade curve reports show ore type tonnages classified by grades of mineral elements for a selected pit shell (surface). A curve grade report can include one or more report items where each item represents one grade curve.

To define a Grade Curve Report item:

  1. Display the Grade Curve Properties screen.

  2. Use Curve relative to grade of to pick an element from the list. All elements of the economic model display.

  3. Define Grade Classes information for the report:

    • Define Minimum grade, Maximum grade and the Number of grade classes.

Note: This number, say N, must be no less than 3 and no greater than 100. The grade interval range is divided into N-2 subintervals (grade classes) and two additional classes are added, one above maximum grade and one below the minimum grade.

  4. Choose how data is reported:

    • Select Cumulative data to display standard cumulative grade curves.

    • Select Incremental datato display incremental grade curves.

  5. Click More Options to display the Report Item Options screen and set more detailed constraints and field calculations for the report. This includes restricting the fields that contribute to the report and formula(e) to manage the resulting grades and tonnages per reporting category.

  6. Click OK to return to the Define Grade Curves screen.
